Are you depressed? Are you stressed out? Are you fearful? Are you weak, either mentally, emotionally, or spiritually? Do you find yourself losing battles with temptation? If you answered yes to any of these questions then I'm going to ask you to answer another one and in answering I am also going to ask you to have one of those moments of brutal, sincere, moments of total honesty with yourself. Your depression, your stress, your fear, your weakness, your lost battles with temptation, are these things you give into easily or willingly? Are they things that when you see them coming you automatically concede the battle giving yourself over to defeat? To those of you who answered yes, I ask only one more question. WHY? Don't you know that the things which plague us, the things we will struggle with and battle against, that we have been given the victory over these things? We have been given assurance on top of assurance in the word of God and God expects us to stand on those assurances. He expects us to operate from a standpoint of victory. He expects us to stand firm against everything that will come against us knowing that the thing, whatever it might be, has already been defeated. Our God expects us to operate from a standpoint of victory because He expects us to know that we belong to Him and our victory is in Him. Our God is our savior, our redeemer, our deliverer, our provider. He is the One who fights all of our battles and He never loses. So today, if you know these things to be true, then from now on, no matter what situation arises and regardless of what you find yourself up against, when you face it do so from a standpoint of victory, knowing that your God has already granted it to you. God Bless.
