About 4:13 Ministries
4:13 Ministries was co-founded by Pastor Kathleen Kuehl and Elder Christopher McClaurin. Its first endeavor is a daily devotional entitled "Drawing Nigh"; our hope is that each day the man or woman of God can receive a word that has been prayerfully written to encourage, strengthen and guide them through the coming day. It is our prayer that the devotionals will also draw you closer to God who made this day possible. Our sincerest desire is to edify the body of Christ through God's Word. May God be glorified in all things.

As Christians, we exist in a culture that is not only contrary to God, his Word and his commands, but is also constantly seeking to redefine how we, the Body of Christ, should praise, worship, love, and serve the God who called us out of the world's darkness and into his glorious light. We at 4:13 Ministries believe that it is vitally important we, as the Body of Christ, understand that culture has no bearing on who we are, what we do, what we say, or what we believe. Our mandate as the Church of Christ comes from the Almighty, All-knowing God, who …"is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us." (Ephesians 3:20 NKJV). We discover his word and his will for our lives in the holy scriptures.
"If we live in the Spirit, let us always walk in the Spirit." These are the words of the apostle Paul in the 5th chapter, 25th verse, of the book of Galatians. Many have called Galatians the Christian Declaration of Independence. Today we at 4:13 Ministries would like for Christians everywhere to join us as we declare our independence from culture, remembering the words of Paul in 2Corinthians 10:3-5 (NKJV):

3) For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.
4) For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds.
5) Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.
