Hello family,
I'm sorry it's been so long since I wrote to you. There have been some ups and downs but I have no excuse for shirking my responsibility. I've been doing a lot of reading and homework during my quarantine time but I also played my share of video games on my tablet. I have one called Brick Breaker that is similar to many computer and phone games. The goal is to keep the bouncing ball on the screen by moving a paddle back and forth until all the objects on the screen are destroyed and points are accumulated. I've had trouble sometimes, not because I'm old and my reaction time is slowing in case anyone was thinking it. Actually sometimes I just wasn't focused on the game. Many times I get distracted by all the other things moving on the screen and take my eye off the ball (incidentally I think I invented that phrase.) Sometimes I would try to grab the little goodies that come falling down the screen, some of which look like gold currency, and the ball, my target, goes right past me. Who sees the point coming? I have to learn to stay focussed on the goal no matter what distractions present themselves or it will take me longer to succeed. Let's look to the things which are unseen and eternal (2 Cor. 4:18) and avoid the glittery distractions so we gain our heavenly prize
