Greetings and blessings to the readers and the families of the readers of Drawing Nigh. I hope and pray everyone is in the best of health and spirits and doing well during these challenging times. I wanted to take this opportunity to check in with you, to let you know you're all in my thoughts and prayers. I also want to take this opportunity to make sure you know that I care about and love each and every one of you. And I guess I know that should be understood and I guess we all operate under the assumption that we love one another because we're Christians but I say it because I know there are people who need to hear it. Some people need to hear that they're cared for and loved. And for those who do I say it boldly that I Elder Christopher Paul McLaurin loves you. So, a thought that's been running through my head is that this isn't and shouldn't be a one way street. Yes this site is someplace where you can receive a word of encouragement but it should also be a place and in fact is a place where you, the readers can publish your praise reports. A place where you can state your prayer requests. A place where you can ask any questions you may have. A place where you can solicit advice. A place where you can vent your frustrations. Or simply a place where you can come and fellowship. Its my hope that Drawing Nigh can become somewhere you can feel comfortable because you know you're amongst family, people who care about you and love you unconditionally. And I will, speaking for myself and also for Pastor Kathy, assure you that's the case. So know that you're welcome here. Know that your opinion and thoughts are valued. Know that your spiritual needs are of the utmost importance to us, that you are of the utmost importance to us. And please, no matter how great the distance is that separates us, know that we are with you.
