A short post from Pastor Kathy.

It's Labor Day and many of us celebrate by hosting of attending a cookout with family and friends. As is the challenge of most of our "Monday Holidays," we often fail to remain the purpose of the day.
Take a moment or two today to remember all the men and women whose work makes our lives easier. Say a pray for those who work in the fields: planting, weeding, harvesting the foods we enjoy on our tables. Pray for those who wait on tables, wash dishes, pots and pans; those who work in factories, hospitals, doctors offices, schools, retail stores, etc.; those who build houses and those who tear them down. Give thanks to God because as Exodus 35:35 states, "He has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work." It is good that we do not all even want to do the same work. Every worker, in every job, is a part of the whole fabric of our lives in community,
This week. think of someone to thank for the work they do. Share God's blessing with them.
