Recently I celebrated my Titi Nellie for who she is in my life. A day or two after that I called my mom and was informed that Nellie's husband had passed away. As soon as I heard it my heart began to hurt. I didn't know her husband seeing as how they'd married since I've been incarcerated but whether I knew him or not didn't matter. What mattered was that I knew Nellie was hurting and because of that I hurt for and with her. She's the woman who has been in my corner since I was a baby and so now, even though I can't be there with her physically, I stand in her corner through prayer and I ask that you, the readers of Drawing Nigh would do the same with me. Stand united with me in prayer that a woman who means the world to me will feel the comfort and joy of our Lord during her time of mourning and grief. I have brought this to you and requested your prayers because the bible tells me that ...THE EFFECTIVE, FERVENT PRAYER OF A RIGHTEOUS MAN AVAILS MUCH. (JAMES 5:16) and I believe what the Word of God says. So please, today, join me in praying for the very special woman in my life. Thank you.
